asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of a difficulty being experienced by a person (details supplied) in Dublin who has been obtaining tablets for over two years from the Eastern Health Board and who has failed to get a rebate allegedly of £39; and if he will ensure that this money is paid as soon as possible in view of this man's entitlements in this matter.

I am not so aware. This person submitted a claim showing expenditure of £39.30 on drugs and medicines in respect of March. A cheque for £27.30, the balance over £12, was issued on 8 April. I do not consider this an unreasonable delay.
