asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will as a matter of urgency transfer a telephone for a person (details supplied) in Templeogue, Dublin.

A transfer of service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that it will be possible to do so for about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the length of time the telephone of a person (details supplied) in Templeogue, Dublin 12 has been out of order, a rebate of rental will be made.

Service has been restored. A rental rebate will be allowed.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if the transfer of a telephone service for a person (details supplied) in Tallaght, County Dublin will be effected without further delay.

A transfer of service will be provided as soon as possible but it is unlikely that it will be possible to do so for about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the Let-terfrack telephone exchange, County Galway will be converted to automatic use.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the residents of Mount Albany and Richmond Estate, Newtown Park Avenue. Blackrock, County Dublin, will be provided with a telephone service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a person (details supplied) in Crumlin, Dublin 12 who had a telephone installed about last October can expect to have the telephone connected, as a telephone number has not been assigned to the instrument.

(Cavan-Monaghan) asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the date on which a person (details supplied) in County Cavan applied for a telephone; when it is proposed to install the telephone; and the cause of the delay.

The applicant in question applied for telephone service on 19 January 1982. It is unlikely that service will be provided for about a year. Service cannot be provided earlier because of the large volume of engineering work on hands and requiring attention in the Cavan area.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

There is no record of an application for telephone service by the person named.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a telephone reconnection can be made urgently for a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

Service will be re-provided as soon as possible but the cables which previously served the address are no longer available. It is unlikely that necessary new cabling can be completed for about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will arrange for the provision of a telephone service to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 2 having regard to the fact that the reconnection charge and deposit was paid in January, 1982 and that failure to provide the service as a matter of urgency may result in his business closing with consequent loss of employment.

It is expected that service will be provided within about a month.
