At present there are 297 recruits undergoing training at the Garda Training Centre, Templemore, of whom 81, or 27 per cent of the total, were born in the Dublin region. It is not yet possible to know the composition of the next group to be taken into training and accordingly no figure can be given of the number born in Dublin.
