Vol. 335 No. 5

Written Answers. - Itinerant Families Housing.

30.

asked the Minister for the Environment how many units of housing accommodation have been provided for itinerant families in the city and county of Dublin; and if he will list the units provided in each of the remaining counties.

Housing accommodation for traveller families is provided both under the special programme for the rehabilitation of travelling people and under the normal local authority housing programme. The number of units of accommodation occupied by traveller families in November 1981 in Dublin city and county (including the borough of Dún Laoghaire) was 194.

Information regarding the number of units occupied in each of the remaining counties is in the form of a tabular statement and I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate this information with the Official Report.
