asked the Minister for the Environment if the holder of an E licence which is issued to the driver of a CIE school bus is entitled to drive a private bus without a further test.
Written Answers. - Driving Licence.
38.
The holder of a driving licence for class E, where that licence is limited to a school bus, is not entitled to drive a private bus used for the carriage of passengers for reward. A person wishing to obtain a licence to drive all vehicles of class E, without this limitation, would be required to obtain the appropriate certificate of competency.
