asked the Minister for the Environment the number of people waiting for driving tests in the county and city of Cork.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Driving Test Statistics.
(Dublin South-East): On 28 May 1982, the number was 544, including 246 cases where notification of a test appointment has already issued, and including also applications received on that date.
What is the average waiting period of applicants for tests?
(Dublin South-East): In each section?
I want to know the average overall waiting period.
(Dublin South-East): I do not seem to have that information. Does the Deputy mean his own region or overall?
Overall.
(Dublin South-East): I have not got that. I only have the information relating to Cork. I have not got the length of the average waiting period but the numbers of people, and the number was 544.
Could I have it at some stage?
(Dublin South-East): If the Deputy wants amplified information on that question I will be delighted to get it for him.
Has the Minister any information on the success rate either nationally or regionally?
(Dublin South-East): That is a separate question.
