My Department's advertising costs for each of the past three years were: 1979, £525.15; 1980, £9,869.29; 1981, £59,726.65.
The increased cost of advertising in 1981 was principally due to the implementation of the campaign for the traffic management programme of the Dublin Transportation Task Force.
