asked the Minister for Agriculture when money will be paid to a farmer (details supplied) in County Meath.
The loss by the farmer in question was not reported to my Department until 28 May, at which time the limited EEC Emergency Aid had already been allocated. However, a small reserve has been set aside to meet any exceptional hardship cases or other cases which might come to light subsequently. The case referred to by the Deputy will be considered in this regard.

The person named was paid his 1981 cattle headage grant under the disadvantaged areas schemes on 16 April 1982.
