The following Messages have been received from Seanad Éireann:
Seanad Éireann has passed the following Bills without amendment—
Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Bill, 1982; National Community Development Agency Bill, 1982; Social Welfare (No. 2) Bill, 1982; and Local Government (Planning and Development) Bill, 1982.
Seanad Éireann has made Orders appointing Select Committees of that House to be joined by Select Committees appointed by the Dáil to form the Joint Library Committee and the Joint Restaurant Committee. The full text of the messages will be set out in the Official Report and in the Journal of the Proceedings of the House.

Go gceapfar Roghchoiste ar a mbeidh seacht gcomhalta a bheidh le comhcheangal leis an Roghchoiste a cheap Dáil Éireann chun cúnamh agus comhairle a thabhairt don Cheann Comhairle agus don Chathaoirleach i stiúradh agus rialú Leabharlann an Oireachtais; |
That a Select Committee consisting of seven members be appointed to be joined with the Select Committee appointed by Dáil Éireann to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library; |

Go ndéanfaidh an Comhchoiste, roimh thosach gnó, duine dá chomhaltaí a thoghadh mar Chathaoirleach, agus gan aige ach vóta amháin; |
That the Joint Committee, previous to the commencement of business, shall elect one of its members to be Chairman, who shall have only one vote; |

That all questions in the Joint Committee shall be determined by a majority of votes of the members present and voting and in the event of there being an equality of votes the question shall be decided in the negative; and |
