Vol. 340 No. 7

Written Answers. - Clare Water Schemes.

334.

asked the Minister for the Environment when he intends to sanction the proposals for Carhuetedane group water scheme, Moy, County Clare, the source for which is Doolough Lake.

The design for the proposed Carrowntedaun group water scheme has been technically cleared by my Department's local inspector and has been forwarded to Clare County Council for examination and approval if in order.

335.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a water grant in respect of a well and pump, as it was passed in summer 1982, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

A grant cannot be allowed in this case because, contrary to a qualifying condition of the scheme, the work had commenced before an inspection of the house was carried out. The applicant has been so informed.
