Broadcasting is only one of the services for which satellites can be used. Because of this and of the costs involved, the use of satellites must be examined in the context of their full potential. This is being carried out by a committee representative of the various interests involved, which was established last November. It is likely to be some time before the committee's examination is concluded and I do not intend to take a decision in advance of receipt and consideration of their report.
