: Under the Housing Regulations, 1980, as amended, the latest date for the completion of work and receipt in the Department of a claim for payment of the grant was 30 June 1981. As these conditions were not complied with in this case the grant cannot be paid.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a final inspection carried out for a house improvement grant under the new scheme for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny as all the work has been completed; and if he will arrange to have the grant paid at the earliest possible time.
: An inspection with a view to payment of a grant in this case will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant under the old scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.
: A house improvement grant cannot be paid in this case as the works carried out did not comply with the Department's minimum standards for grant purposes. The applicant has been so informed. A solid fuel grant was paid in this case in September 1980.
