asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11.

: It is expected that service will be provided within about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason a telephone service was not provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 9, in view of the fact that applicants in the nearby new estate of Beauvale have had their telephones installed although it was built at a much later date.

: It has not been possible to provide telephone service for the person named so far because there is no spare cable there to serve the address.

Telephone service has been provided for applicants in Beauvale Estate for whom cabling was available. Beauvale Estate is in a different exchange area from the address of the person named.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11, as she applied in 1978 and everybody else in the area has service at this stage.

: It is expected that service will be provided within about four months.
