The Office of Public Works have advised the Department of Education that it is feasible to erect a new school on the existing site at Leamlara national school, County Cork. Because of the restricted area of the present site, the manager has offered a site extension but this would cost a substantial sum to develop. The question of whether it should be accepted or the school erected on the site as existing will shortly be decided by the Office of Public Works who will promptly convey their recommendation to the Department of Education.
