A house improvement grant of £200 was paid to the person named for the provision of sewerage facilities on 12 November 1982. Grants are not allowable in this case in respect of the installation of a water supply as this work formed part of a group scheme or for the provision of additional bedroom accommodation because the work had commenced prior to the Department's inspector's visit.
The applicant's entitlement to a grant for bathroom facilities is being investigated and he will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Longford as all relevant papers requested were signed and furnished and the house completed on 14 May 1981.
The Deputy was informed on 9 December 1982 that a witnessed statement was required from the applicant in support of his claim for payment of the grant. Such statement has not been received to date.
