asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

The bathroom grant will be paid shortly. An inspection with a view to payment of the sewerage grant will be carried out in this case as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a home improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a home improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for a report on the applicant's eligibility for the grant. On receipt of this report, the matter will be finalised as quickly as possible.

Maximum house improvement and water and sewerage grants of £200 and £75 were paid to the person named in September 1974 and June 1977 respectively. There is no record in my Department of any further application in this case.

A grant cannot be paid in this case until the applicant submits a form SL4 which she has been asked to complete and have certified by her inspector of taxes. When this document is received, approval to the grant will issue to the applicant and an inspection of the house will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

An inspection with a view to the approval of a grant will be carried out in this case as soon as possible.

A grant cannot be paid in this case until an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and complies with all the other conditions of the grant scheme. The file is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the grant.
