asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve maximum grants for Scardane group water scheme (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
A design for the Scardane scheme, which has been approved by my Department and Roscommon County Council, is at present being revised to cater for an alternative source which the group now wish to use. When the revised design has been approved by the Department and by Roscommon County Council, the group will be advised to seek tenders, the level of grants to be allocated to the scheme cannot be firmly estimated until the relevant tenders are available.
