asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for the provision of new post-primary facilities in the Clondalkin area of County Dublin over the next five years.

A replacement building for the vocational school in Clondalkin is under construction. It is scheduled for completion in April 1984. The school will then have a capacity for 800 pupils. In addition a new post-primary school is under construction in the Rowlagh/Neilstown area. It is due to open in September 1984. It will be co-educational and have accommodation for 1,000 pupils. It is intended to provide a new post-primary school in the Deansrath/Bawnogue area. The architectural planning of the school has commenced. The date by which the school should open has not yet been decided.
