I assume that the dental specialist the Deputy is referring to is an orthodontist. The Local Appointments Commission will shortly be inviting applications for a new full-time post of consultant orthodontist for the Eastern Health Board. When appointed the consultant orthodontist will be providing a service for the whole health board area, including Ballymun.
