The income eligibility levels for the purposes of the Higher Education Grants Schemes in 1983 in the case of farmers' children are the same as those which apply in the case of all other applicants under the schemes. There are no proposals to replace the statutory declaration in relation to certain categories of farmers' children by a simple signed statement from the parents.
