asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when it is proposed to have full postal facilities restored to a village (details supplied) in County Galway.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 247 and 248 together. The newly appointed postmistress for the area in question is in the process of adapting premises for Post Office use. It is expected that the sub-post office will be fully operational in the very near future and the mail van collection service in force prior to the closure of the office will be resumed as soon as the new sub-post office is opened.
