The Office of Public Works have advised that a contract for completion of the new area engineering headquarters at Racecourse Road, Roscommon, is expected to be placed within the next two weeks. The building should be completed six months after the contract is placed. The overall revised cost of the completed project, which includes cost of building and site, consultants' fees, furniture etc., is estimated at £500,000.
