In January 1983 the Department of Education asked the Office of Public Works to report on the feasibility of providing an additional classroom and a general purposes room at Slievewaddra national school, County Kerry. In April 1983 the Office of Public Works advised the Department that it was feasible to provide the accommodation proposed but that a site extension was required. The manager of the school is aware of the position; it will not be possible to commence the preparation of sketch plans until he confirms that a suitable site extension is available.
