I am aware of the appointment of a receiver in this case. The Industrial Development Authority, in co-operation with the receiver, are contacting a large number of companies in Ireland and overseas, concerning the possibility of a take-over of the plant. Every effort will be made to ensure that the operation is taken over as a going concern and that employment at the factory is maintained.
