The application in this case has been refused because, contrary to a provision of the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended), notification of completion of the work and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate inspection and payment of a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
When the person named submits the documents, requested on two previous occasions by my Department i.e., planning permission, house plans, specifications and site location map, his file will be referred to my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to allocation of a grant.
