I am advised that a refund of PRSI contributions was claimed on behalf of the person in question in respect of the years to 1982-83 but, as deductions in respect of PRSI were not made by Meath County Council for those years, the question of a refund does not arise. The county council have, however, deducted PRSI contributions in the current year and the claimant should address an application for a refund to the council.
