asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works received a communication from the Department of Education on 3 October 1983 to the effect that a site extension has been purchased by the manager at Ballylanders national school in County Limerick; and whether the feasibility study, which the Office of Public Works have to prepare to determine how this additional accommodation can be provided, will be available to the Minister for Education before Christmas.

As indicated in my reply to a parliamentary question by the Deputy on 26 October 1983 the Department of Education sent a copy of a letter from the manager of Ballylanders national school to the Office of Public Works on 3 October 1983 which indicated that a site extension had been purchased. The Office of Public Works are examining the feasibility of providing the required accommodation and expect to report on the matter to the Department of Education before Christmas.
