The Commissioners of Public Works as agents for the Minister for Finance have disposed of the Minister's interest in the school to An Oige (Feadhmannas na hÓige). The sale was agreed on 21 January 1983 and the legal formalities of the sale were completed on 25 October 1983. The consideration paid for the school is a confidential matter between the commissioners and the purchasers.
