Limerick East): The officer in question was transferred from Limerick on 11 November 1981 and at that time he was informed that he would not be transferred back. Representations were made to my two predecessors as Minister for Justice to transfer this officer to Limerick. Both declined to do so and from the information available to me I have no option but to adhere to the decision.
