I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that an amended certificate of tax-free allowances for the current year, 1983-84, was issued to the taxpayer on 27 October 1983, to take account of his altered personal circumstances. The inspector of taxes, who now deals with the taxpayer's affairs, advised the Deputy on 26 October that the certificate was being issued.
