I presume that the Deputy is referring to the numbers of young people employed by local authorities in County Donegal under environment works schemes. The information which is available to me relates to the numbers of jobs provided for young people under 25 years of age on foot of the allocations notified to the local authority in each year. It is understood from the county council that the number of such jobs was 132 in respect of the 1981 allocation and 156 in respect of the 1982 allocation. Similar information in respect of 1983 is not yet available.
