Working drawings for the Tower Blarney sewerage scheme were received in my Department in June 1983. Following technical examinations of these drawings certain amendments were suggested to the local authority's technical staff. The submission of the specification incorporating these amendments and the bill of quantities for the scheme are awaited in the Department. In the circumstances, I am not at present in a position to say when this scheme may be fully approved by me.
