There is no record in my Department or the Electricity Supply Board of an application for aid under the western package electrification scheme from the person referred to by the Deputy.
However it is open to the person concerned to apply for such aid if he is eligible under the terms of the scheme, which was set up to stimulate agricultural development in the West of Ireland. Application forms are available from the local ESB offices in the regions covered by the scheme.
