Arrangements are being made for payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a home improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
The application in this case has been refused because, contrary to the Housing Regulations, 1980 (as amended) notification of completion of works and a claim for payment of the grant were not received in my Department by 30 June 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.
A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is completed and occupied and complies with all other conditions of the grant scheme.
The file is with the Department's inspector who has been asked to carry out his inspection as soon as possible.
