asked the Minister for Education if she is aware that Laois County Council have not yet paid their grants under the Higher Education Grants Act, 1968 and 1978, to students attending third level institutions; and if she will endeavour to have these grants paid forthwith as the delay in their payments will cause hardship to many students.
