The 1984 allocations have not yet been made. In the case of the grants in relief of rates and in lieu of the agricultural grant, rating authorities have been informed that the overall 1984 Estimates provision should enable the allocations to each local authority to be increased by about 0.8 per cent subject to allowance for commitments from previous years. Information on the 1982 and 1983 allocations follows:
