The question of authorising the invitation of tenders for the proposed extension to Cashel national school, County Donegal, is at present being considered and my Department will be in touch with the Chairman of the school's board of management as soon as possible about the matter.

A grant has been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of the proposed extension to Dore national school, County Donegal. It is understood from the Commissioners of Public Works that the further planning arrangements will be commenced when the school authorities forward planning permission which they have been asked to obtain.
