I accept that progress on the contract for the extension to Shanagolden national school, County Limerick, has not been satisfactory and I am aware that conditions in the existing school building are poor.
A site meeting has recently taken place with the contractor and he has undertaken to resume work at an early date and maintain satisfactory progress to ensure that the contract is completed at the earliest possible date.
