asked the Minister for the Environment if a £1,000 grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.
A grant cannot be paid in this case until certain works, which were notified to the applicant on 27 January 1978, have been completed. Inspections in February 1980 and September 1982 revealed that these works were not carried out. When my Department are notified that these works have been carried out and the house is occupied, a further inspection with a view to payment of a grant will be arranged.
