In accordance with the terms of Circular No. 19/83 of April 1983 an appointment of a clerical assistant may not be made in succession to the holder of an existing appointment who resigns from the post. In the circumstances an appointment of a clerical assistant to Tipperary town CBS may not be sanctioned.
