While no specific proposal on the lines suggested is under consideration I am glad to tell the Deputy that my Department will co-operate actively with An Taisce in a National Tree Week which is being arranged for the period 18 to 25 March next. Details of my Department's involvement which will include the establishment of ash plantations to mark the GAA centenary, will be announced later.
