Vol. 348 No. 7

Written Answers. - County Tipperary School Extension.

372.

asked the Minister for Finance of the Commissioners of Public Works have completed a feasibility study in connection with the proposal to extend a school building (details supplied) in County Tipperary; the conclusions they have come to; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Office of Public Works has prepared and forwarded to the Department of Education a feasibility study in respect of the proposed extension to Kilsheelan national school, County Tipperary. The proposals involve the erection of an extension block containing eight classrooms and ancillary accommodation and the conversion of the present school building to a general purposes room.

As the site is small, play space would be restricted and the scheme has been prepared on the basis that an area of ground adjoining the school will be available for playing purposes.
