Proposals for revisions of speed limits in County Waterford submitted by Waterford County Council include a recommendation that the 30 mph speed limit on the Mount Melleray Road, Cappoquin, be extended to a point in the townland of Shanbally so as to bring all of the built-up stretch of this road within the speed limit area. Regulations to give effect to these proposals are currently being prepared and will be made as soon as possible.
