Full time cleaners are paid £106.61 per week in respect of a 30 hour (minimum) to 42 hour week. Where the office cleaning requirement is less than 30 hours per week part-time cleaners are employed and paid at the rate of £2.795 per hour. All cleaners are directly employed by my Department with the exception of cleaning staff at seven local offices who are employed by contract cleaners at pay rates and under conditions fixed by the contractors.
