Recent information from the Northern Ireland Authorities has established that £1 million of the sum of £1.86 million originally earmarked for the cross-Border drainage project in 1984, is now required for that purpose. The £1 million has been re-allocated to the other arterial drainage schemes of the Commissioners of Public Works. The amount of EEC funds available for the cross-Border scheme is not affected.
