The Revenue Commisioners have advised me that completed application form (C.46) for a construction payments card (C.47) in respect of the sub-contractor was submitted by the principal contractor to the Inspector of Taxes, Construction Industry District, Dublin, on 2 February 1984. The required C.47 was issued to the principal contractor on 16 February. The inspector has no record of the receipt in recent months from the principal contractor of any other application for a payments card in respect of the sub-contractor referred to in the question.
