The new community school to be provided at Scholarstown Road is scheduled to open in 1988.
Having regard to the fact that a recent review carried out by my Department indicates that for some years there will be sufficient post-primary school accommodation in the general area to cater for pupils leaving primary schools in Knocklyon and Ballyboden, it is not proposed to have a new community school at Knocklyon opened before September 1988.
