A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with. There is no record in my Department of a request for a final inspection from the person named. However, in view of the information supplied by the Deputy, the file is being referred for inspection with a view to payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.
On receipt of notification of completion of works a final inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of a grant in this case.
