As the Deputy is no doubt aware, the Market House, Monaghan, has been acquired by the Midlands Regional Tourism Organisation, with funds allocated under the Special Border Areas Programme for development as a tourism centre. Any proposal to develop the Market House as a craft centre would have to be considered having regard to the views of the Regional Tourism Organisation and such factors as the cost of the project, its viability and its contribution to the development of craft industries in the area.
