I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the information supplied, they are unable to trace the taxpayer in their records. If the name of the tax office which deals with the taxpayer and the revenue and social insurance (RSI) number are supplied, the matter will be examined.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that, on the basis of the details available, the correct amount of income tax was deducted from the taxpayer's earnings for the year 1983/84 and, therefore, no repayment arises for that year. There is no information available to suggest that the taxpayer is entitled to a refund in respect of any earlier year.
